Crossweys House | Guildford
The Project
Located in the Guildford Town Centre Conservation area, Crossweys House is a landmark building that was redeveloped in the late 1980s. It presents a selections of materials typical of the period, including red facing brickwork and brick arches, stone parapets and cornices and oak storefront with marble cladding to piers.
The proposed design ensures a cohesive development and extension of the new feature entrance, while being respectful of the character and styles of the surrounding buildings.
Our Work
The exterior photomontages aim at showcasing the enhanced visual impression of the building and improved appearance in its wider setting. The existing brickwork and stone cornicing are retained, cleaned and repaired to lift the overall finish.
The office CGI gives a chance to see what the floor plate could look like, with its flexible space, exposed services and new LED lighting.
